Christmas phone dump

I had an amazing Christmas! I spent the whole day with my awesome husband and our families! I wouldn't have had it any other way! I wish it hadn't gone by so fast! I'm not sure if I can wait another 364 days for Christmas to role around again!

I also got some awesome goodies! My phone pictures probably does no justice!

I have asked for this purse(or purses similar)for 2 or 3 years! I'm not kidding! You couldn't imagine my excitement when I opened the box from my awesome husband who was able to keep this a secret from me for almost a month!
We suck at taking pictures most of the time. But we are still a pretty cute couple!

Pretty new watch, and nails polished.
My husband isn't the best when it comes to picking things out for other people, so I was totally surprised at how awesome he made my stocking, and his first stocking! He must know me best. I got a new coffee mug, eyelashes, scenty scents, candy & car air fresheners!

Him opening his brand new Batwolf Oakleys! He smashed the pair I got him for his birthday, during his accident, so I got him a cooler pair. These were the last present he opened and it was in the bottom of the stocking. I like throwing big  surprises in the stocking sometimes!

This is what else filled his stocking: candy, $25 visa,beef jerky, toothbrushes, and tweezers(because he used mine), and gum.
For a long long time I have wanted the Kate spade "mrs" necklace, well Santa heard and brought me not only the beautiful necklace, but also the earrings! I just love them. This Santa was actually Austin's grandparents. This necklace means a lot to me because it symbolizes my new life in a way. I am a mrs, I am his mrs & I love that. I also love that his grandmother got it for me. In a way it shows that she totally loves and accepts me into the family whether I knew that before or not.

Clothes. What girl doesn't love sweaters, true religions, and yoga pants?! I was over the moon with my new jeans! I def needed them!

My mother in law works at Victoria's Secret, so I knew is get some awesome goodies. This lotion smells amazing, the hairspray is awesome and I love phone cases. My favorite is the phone case/wallet! Super cute! Eye shadow is also very cute!
Rice cooker because we eat rice with everything! Haha! Austin's grandmother got us this! I actually can't wait to try it out! We now have every kitchen appliance EXCEPT for a blender! Lol
Kind of better picture of my amazingly beautiful Fossil watch with double row of crystals. I am in love with the rose gold color. It's simple and elegant!I had to get four links taken out so I wear it without it falling off. My parents did great!(:
Gold bracelets to go with my gold watch. I like chunky pieces like these!

Cute Kate Spade boxes(:
Awesome OPI nail polish set that I already put to good use! The eyelashes from hubby & the blue bow is for my car!

I asked for a new iPad case, and I got the  perfect one from my beautiful sister!
Mason jar shot glasses. If this doesn't say Summer and Austin, then I don't know what does. His sister bought these for us! Super cute!

Eye shadow story: I really REALLY wanted the naked 3 palette, but when my mom went to buy it, it was not available yet so she got me too faced, really pretty colors but a little too much shimmer for me. So today I took it back expecting to exchange it for naked 3, but  when I looked at naked I realized I would never use most the colors. But I really liked Naked 2, of course that was sold out. So I ended up seeing this smash box palette & really liked it! So we will see how it goes!(:

Because everyone got us cups when they found out about the new Keurig! I love it!
True religion perfume! Yummmmm!
Candy, mug & car fresheners!

And lastly, more true religion perfume & a gift card for a massage at a salon near me!(:

I made out for Christmas that's for sure! But I really loved that everyone liked what we got them! As I get older I start to find giving a little bit more fun! I enjoy being able to spoil the ones I love & the ones that have spoiled me for so long!(:

Christmas #1.

We are kind of having three Christmas's this year. In a way. Last night was the last night that my husbands Aunt and Uncle were going to be in town so we did a small dinner and gift exchange.

This is my husband when I sneak a picture in. Caught off guard? Usually he turns his head, but I was too fast for him this time(:

So if you know anything about me, you know my favorite foods is chicken. This is by far one of my favorite dinners, its so yummy and very healthy!
After dinner we started to open presents! This is my awesome mother-in-law. She is the sweetest person I know, and I am so glad that she loved the gifts she got from her sister!
This cute little girl, that resembles Boo from Monsters, Inc., is Emma. Shes hubby's baby cousin. Currently the youngest in the family, so shes spoiled rotten! & She loves unwrapping presents!

This was our present from Austin's aunt and uncle.
Pretty awesome freaking gift if I do say so! We are on a coffee kick lately so this was the perfect surprise! I am a proud new owner of a Keurig! Am I cool yet?

And in true Emma fashion, snow was made out of Styrofoam that came with of one of the gifts. This stuff was everywhere!

Of course we couldn't wait to try out our new beautiful coffee maker, so as soon as we got home hubs put in a cup and brewed some really yummy hazelnut stuff(:

I love Christmas because its about family coming together to spend time and love with. I can totally feel it in this family!

I've been chosen... twice!

I decided to become an egg donor a couple months ago, you can read my introduction about this process here .

For a while there I thought a couple wasn't going to chose me. I had been waiting impatiently and actually got a call around the beginning of December saying my profile was never uploaded with The Fertility Center of Las Vegas. {I applied for two Fertility Center of Las Vegas, and Red Rock Fertility Center}. So I let it go in my head. I decided to put it in God's hands. If and when I get the call, I get the call. There is nothing I can do about it right now. God will find the right family and send them in my direction. Boy did he!

Friday... December 20th, I got a call from Julie at Red Rock Fertility Center, while at lunch, and was informed that a couple had chosen me to become their egg donor. I pretty much cried with excitement in front of my co-workers. She told me that they are looking for a fast process and would like to have the retrieval done before or in February! I'm all for a fast process! I am supposed to call or e-mail her as soon as I get my period {tmi?}, and they will do blood work, then a psych evaluation, then I will have to do my injections {by "I", I mean Austin will be administering my injections} for two weeks, and then I should be ready for retrieval! I was so excited, I told my hubby, my parents, and my in-laws! The thought of giving a couple my eggs to create a beautiful being to add to their family is just awesome and overwhelming!

Today, about an hour ago I got a call from Maria with Fertility Center of Las Vegas, and guess what!!! Another couple chose me! I went from thinking that no one wanted me to not one but TWO couples wanting me! Whoa. So this couple is okay with doing a February-March Cycle, which is good because I already promised the first couple January- February. I can't believe I had another couple interested!

Today is a good Monday. I feel very fortunate to be able to help two families make their dreams come true. Having children is such a huge importance to mine and my husbands lives, and I  can only imagine what these beautiful mothers and fathers are going through to create their own family! I truly hope that I change these peoples lives forever, anonymously and with love in my heart.

Presents!!

My weekend was pretty great! I love the weekend before Christmas!

{ f r i d a y }
Friday at work we had the white elephant party that I complained about on my five for Friday, I actually lucked out and got a $25 gift card to Starbucks {which is awesome, because I was going to buy one for my sister, so that was covered} and a couple bath soaps and shampoos for kids {which were re-wrapped for Austin's little cousin. I went home and set up my sisters stocking (:
This picture is missing the Starbucks mug that I bought her on Saturday and stuck in the stocking as well. I love doing stockings and who better to spoil than my sister!? I know, the cookies are kind of weird but let me tell you... They are snickerdoodle, so awesomely yummy, and each cookie is like a pound & very soft!

Friday night we went to Austin's parents house for dinner and he played Xbox for a while, but that was pretty much it.

{ s a t u r d a y }
I was waiting for this day all week. It was a busy Saturday for us.We woke up pretty early and went to Austins bank to finally add me to his account. Then we went to my {old} bank to close that account and withdraw all the money. Then we went to FedEx so I could ship my grandma and grandpa's Christmas gifts, but the line was out the door & there was only one guy working. I know.. not much sense. So we ended up leaving because I had no time to wait. I dropped hubby off back at home and went to my moms house, so we could finish up our shopping!
We went to Town Square, Meadows Mall, and Wal-Mart, and this took up the whole day. I can finally say that all my Christmas shopping is done! Yayyyy. Now I feel relieved. So when I got home I headed straight for the extra bedroom and wrapped all of Austin's presents before he could see. I also got this new pretty wrapping paper.(:

I got all presents wrapped and ready for Christmas. I love how my tree looks now(: It's fun knowing that I did all this for my family!

My mom got the two smallest presents! But you know what they say, sometimes the best gifts come in small packages! Coach gift card and a bottle of her favorite perfume(:

{ s u n d a y }
We finally got my grandparents presents shipped out overnight! Then we went to Buffalo Wild Wings for lunch with one of Austins old friends and his daughter. Then we went on a little dog hunt around our house. I mentioned in my last post that we are looking for a puppy, well we saw some adoption signs up around the shopping center near our apartment and thought we would take a look. But by the time we got there all the puppies had been taken. I cleaned the house up and wrapped up the last of the presents then we went to Austins dads house to take little cousin Emma her presents!

Austins Aunt, Uncle and Cousin live in San Diego, but they came in Saturday but are leaving Tuesday afternoon and we didn't know when we would be able to see Emma open her gifts! She is three, so she had fun with them for a few minutes {more interested in ripping off the paper} and then forgot all about it! I guess earlier that day she threw a fit because she wasn't allowed to open the gifts underneath her Aunts tree!HA!

I actually had a good weekend. Shopping with my mom and sister was fun and I am glad that I finally got all my shopping done!(:
