My first Ipsy bag!

Many of you may have already heard of Ipsy, and I am brand new to it! So at the beginning of each month you pay only $10 and about two weeks later you get a cute make up bag full of 4 to 5 sample or full size items. Last month I subscribed and yesterday my first bag arrived! I really like everything I received in my first bag!

First, when I opened my mailbox I saw the cutest pink mailing package! This definitely made me excited to open and see what was inside.
The make up bag I got was really cute and simple. The liner was pink cheetah print and that's my favorite!

My first item, is this awesome ZOYA Nail Polish in an awesome purple shade "Odette". It's a perfect Valentines color. I can't wait to use it! Worth $9 here.

I rarely wear color other than nude on my lips, but I actually really like this color. I will have to try it out! Again a perfect Valentines shade! You can find for $16 here.
So I love eyelashes! I love having pretty eyelashes, I think they totally pull together a look! It's funny because I just ran out of eyelash glue the other day, so I was super excited to get these! You can find them for $3.99 here.

I just recently started using blush, I have a pretty fair skin shade right now because of winter, so I love having a little rosy cheek. I recently got a new blush brush and I am excited to try this new shade out!  You can find it for $2.99 here.

I have never used or tried a face mask before, so when I got these samples with my haul I was excited. I will be using these very soon! You can find skyn Iceland products here.

My bag was well worth over $10! I can't wait for next months surprises!

My valentines Post

I'm a sucker for any and all holidays, I don't care if they are cheesy, overrated, too much money, or made up by a greeting card company to generate revenue. I want to celebrate, and go over the top with everything, even Valentines day. That being said, I never really went out of my way for Valentines before. Last year husband {then fiancé} and I, just went to dinner, and I had very small surprises for him throughout the day. So this year I plan to do something crazy cute for him, because even though he is horrible at showing emotion, I know he appreciates all my cute little ideas {some stolen from Pinterest} and keeps them in his heart forever, at least I'd like to think so!

I will be off work Thursday and Friday- Not for great reason, maybe I'll post next week why. So I decided to get my creativity on these days!

I am going to start by making yummy treats!(:

Valentines Day Cookie Pops. Valentines Days Ideas #Valentines, #pinsland, https://apps.facebook.com/yangutu
These cookie pops are so cute!

 Trifecta Cookies recipe

Then I am going to go to Target, and get a bunch of little treats and presents for him.
I'll probably fill up a cute basket or bag, with things he needs and likes to use.

Then I am thinking about cooking him a really big and yummy dinner Friday. Having it ready by the time he gets home. I have a feeling every restaurant in Vegas is going to be so busy, and extremely loud.
After dinner we can exchange gifts, and get ready to go see a show on the strip!
I think I am going to buy tickets to Blue Man Group!

Maybe I am using Valentines as the perfect excuse to be cute, romantic, and do something fun... BUT I DON'T CARE.
My husband knows I love him everyday anyway!

weekend recap.

Everyone knows how much I love my weekends & this weekend was pretty perfect and relaxing!

{f r i da y}
Friday night we got dinner and Austin had some friends over. It's important to me that he can still hang out with his friends and connect with them like he did before we got married. I know we are each other's number 1, but it's good for him to BS with his guys every once in a while!

Saturday morning I woke up way too early, and couldn't get back to sleep. So I left my husband a note and went to get my nails done.

When I got back, with donuts in hand for him, he was playing video games, so I decided to crawl in bed and watch Dexter. I ended up falling asleep and didn't wake up until 4pm!
We went to the mall, so I could buy a shirt, and get my ring cleaned, and picked up dinner.
It was my sister-in-laws Sadies night Saturday night, and they had plans for dinner and to ride the New York New York roller coaster, but didn't know what to do after. So I suggested they come to my apartment complex and use the hot tub or hang out at our place for a bit. So we hosted them for a little while that night.

We woke up pretty early, so we could go get pictures done. I am a huge picture freak, I love having them done. We went out to Floyd Lamb Park and a friend/photographer of ours, Shannon, came out and took some photos of us! My husband hates hates hates having pictures done. He doesn't even like to take the occasional picture while we are out doing something, so I definitely had to pull his leg to do these. Of course, he didn't take his freaking sunglasses off the entire time, because his eyes are extremely sensitive to the sun. I'm a little nervous to see if we got any good pictures, but I am excited to get them sometime this week!

After our pictures we met up with my parents and went to the Strip. It's been a while since we have walked it, and a lot of new things have been added. The High Roller/ Linq is the newest most popular addition to the strip right now, so we wanted to check it all out. Unfortunately the gigantic farris wheel is not yet open (subject to open in March, but it's Vegas, so ya never know when it will actually open). It is absolutely huge! Each pod is supposed to be able to hold up to 40 people! We also checked out the Conservatory at the Bellagio, and watched the water show. Then we stopped for Ice Cream at the Sugar Factory!
It was beautiful outside yesterday, so that made the day even better!

I loved this weekend, and I cannot wait for next weekend! It's three days & Valentines weekend, so I am trying to come up with some fun stuff to keep us busy!
