Our Weekend.

It was another relaxing, or... boring weekend with the Failes. But these are my favorite kind.

Friday night, our friends/ neighbors, Sage & Eishi (yes we do a lot of things with them) asked us to go to BJs with them. At first we said no because BJ's is a little pricy and I have a strict Christmas budget, but... after a couple minutes to think about it, we didn't want to pass an excuse to enjoy some yummy pot stickers and their perfect thin cut fries.

And we certainly couldn't pass up the triple chocolate Pazookie that BJ's is oh so famous for, now could we? Chocolate fudge cookie with chocolate ice cream that has tiny chocolate chips in it? Nope. We had to go. They have many flavors of Pazookies, but I am a chocolate girl all the way.

After our delightful meal we all went to Wal-Mart.... I know its like a weird Friday night thing now apparently. We just wanted to do a little grocery shopping when it was practically empty. It was almost like Sage and Eishi were roommates.

I had some Errands to run. I needed to go find a toy for the Toys for Tots drive that we were doing at work, and I needed to find some white string lights for the Christmas tree like I promised myself and everyone else that I would. So we went to Ross, they have a huge area with toys that are brand new, just a little cheaper than anywhere else we would have gone. Then we went to Walmart... Yes that place again, to get the string lights and an "over the door hook" for our wreath. I still don't know the name for that little thing. Here's a picture of our faces, just in case you forgot. Yeah, I wear cheetah print quite often.

For lunch we tried out this place near our house, Rachel's Kitchen. Let me tell you. This was an amazing Turkey Avocado sandwich with sweet potato fries (My favorite fries of all time). Definitely going to make this place a regular for us.

You know how before I mentioned how happy rain makes me? Yeah, well you should have seen the excitement on my face when I found out I was going to have ANOTHER rain filled day- and it wasn't spent at work! While everyone else groaned and complained about the wonderful wetness, I was the happiest of the happy!

So when we got home from our errands, we added these little bells to our wreath, and hung it on our door. Living in an apartment, we don't have much outdoor space. So my door has a wreath, and our balcony has blue lights hanging from it.

And I finished out Christmas tree. Yep, Pink and Purple. I am so glad that it is finished though. It makes home feel so warm now! I need to go find cute matching stockings, but I got my husband a stocking last year that looks like a riding boot, and he loves it.

I agreed last week that my husband and I would watch a co-workers kids for the night so him and his wife could go have dinner... alone. The baby was an angle. She didn't cry or fuss at all. She ate all her food, and didn't make a mess. I am really hoping my children are this calm and happy. She was all smiles.

It melted my heart when she fell asleep on my chest. Thanks for not helping this baby fever, baby! Oh well, I told my co-worker I would come watch his kids again any time!

We didn't do much Sunday. Lots of Laundry (and its still not even done). I finished my school work for a my Com class. We went to Smiths to get some apples that I was craving, and PetSmart to get crickets for the beardies. We had Café Rio for lunch (BOGO) and then Port of Subs for dinner (another BOGO). We are cheap, what can I say. It was a very relaxing Sunday.
