I have been wanting to go on a date for a while with just us. I mean we go to dinner together a lot, but we never really go on a "date", so Friday I made plans for dinner and a movie. For dinner we had Buca Di Beppo for the first time. We didn't realize they serve their food family style. But everything was just so good!
Then we headed over to the Galaxy theater to see Lone Survivor. We are both huge fans of war and "military" movies, so we were both excited to see this one. Act of Valor is something we Netflix regularly, and Lone Survivor is probably the best movie I have seen in a long, long time. It was such and intense and emotional movie. What made it even better, was that the guy who the movie was based off of, said that in order for anyone to air this movie it had to be true to story. It couldn't have any "hollywood" extras. Mark Whalburg is my favorite actor at this point. We were also in a luxury theater, so we had these huge red seats that recline. We will never go see a movie in any other type of theater!

Saturday afternoon we went to Tivoli Village, which is a newer outdoor mall in Summerlin. This was my first time going. This mall was absolutely beautiful, and they had some kind of Market going on where bunch of Vendors where there selling cute stuff. We went in to go to Charming Charlies to get my friend, Lilly, a birthday present. I remember her telling me she loved the color of my new watch, so we got her a rose gold watch, with rhinestones around the face. We also got her some lotion and body spray from Bath and Body Works. My husband isn't a mall {or shopping} guy, so unfortunately we didn't stay very long.
We did get some Capriotti's for lunch though(:
Later we went to my parents for dinner, and watched a Redbox movie The Moral Instruments:City of Bones. It was actaully not that bad of a movie. Definitely not something I would pay more than $1.50 to watch, but it was entertaining.
After my parents house we went to Lilly's Surprise birthday party! Her friend Alexa threw it, and it turned out to be really fun. Austin had a little bit too much to drink and we didn't get home until like 2am, but I am really glad we went!
How cute is her cake and cake pops?!

Otherwise known as Football Day!
GOOOO BRONCOS! They made it to the Superbowl with the Seahawks just like I had predicted! I should have put money on it! I am excited for the Superbowl! We might be having a little Superbowl party(: While watching football I made some yummy chocolate covered strawberries. I used Hershey's Chocolate Chips and melted them in the microwave. It was so easy and they turned out so delicious. This will definitely be something I do more often!
Then we went to Redbox and rented Prisoners. I didn't love how it ended, but overall a good movie!
I loved our weekend, I hate how fast they go by, and I hope next weekend is just as good!
