Friday night we got dinner and Austin had some friends over. It's important to me that he can still hang out with his friends and connect with them like he did before we got married. I know we are each other's number 1, but it's good for him to BS with his guys every once in a while!

Saturday morning I woke up way too early, and couldn't get back to sleep. So I left my husband a note and went to get my nails done.
When I got back, with donuts in hand for him, he was playing video games, so I decided to crawl in bed and watch Dexter. I ended up falling asleep and didn't wake up until 4pm!
We went to the mall, so I could buy a shirt, and get my ring cleaned, and picked up dinner.
It was my sister-in-laws Sadies night Saturday night, and they had plans for dinner and to ride the New York New York roller coaster, but didn't know what to do after. So I suggested they come to my apartment complex and use the hot tub or hang out at our place for a bit. So we hosted them for a little while that night.

We woke up pretty early, so we could go get pictures done. I am a huge picture freak, I love having them done. We went out to Floyd Lamb Park and a friend/photographer of ours, Shannon, came out and took some photos of us! My husband hates hates hates having pictures done. He doesn't even like to take the occasional picture while we are out doing something, so I definitely had to pull his leg to do these. Of course, he didn't take his freaking sunglasses off the entire time, because his eyes are extremely sensitive to the sun. I'm a little nervous to see if we got any good pictures, but I am excited to get them sometime this week!
After our pictures we met up with my parents and went to the Strip. It's been a while since we have walked it, and a lot of new things have been added. The High Roller/ Linq is the newest most popular addition to the strip right now, so we wanted to check it all out. Unfortunately the gigantic farris wheel is not yet open (subject to open in March, but it's Vegas, so ya never know when it will actually open). It is absolutely huge! Each pod is supposed to be able to hold up to 40 people! We also checked out the Conservatory at the Bellagio, and watched the water show. Then we stopped for Ice Cream at the Sugar Factory!
It was beautiful outside yesterday, so that made the day even better!
I loved this weekend, and I cannot wait for next weekend! It's three days & Valentines weekend, so I am trying to come up with some fun stuff to keep us busy!
