New Apartment

I was so wrapped up in my new car and the pumpkin patch that I totally forgot to write about the move! Well, Friday I took of work early and met my husband at the leasing office so we could sign the lease to the new apartment. 1 year. If we get stationed somewhere before then, we are able to get out of the lease.

 

I was going to paint, but I decided against it, seeing as we don't know how long we will be there and the ceilings are vaulted and I didn't want to find a ladder. Lazy me. I know. I was so determined to paint too.. oh well. After I did the walk through I went to Sage's apartment and she took me to U-Haul to get a truck. Our plan was to move everything on Saturday, I got carried away and decided I was going to do it all Friday night! Sage and her fiancé helped me with the first truck load, and we were halfway through unloading it into the new apartment when my husband got home. We got it all unloaded then went back to load the truck up for the second time. The Dish guy came Friday afternoon as well and hooked up our TVs, now I am just waiting for the internet. It's supposed to be here this week, but we will see!

 

Then we took Sage and Eishi to Cappriotties to thank them for the help.

 

After we ate my husbands friends Chris and JP came over and helped unload the truck. We got almost all of our stuff moved over on Friday night. My mom came by and helped unpack and organize my closet.

 

Saturday morning, I took a trip to Wall-Mart for a new mop and some cleaning things. I also got a new Scentsy for the extra bathroom.

 

We went back to the old apartment and packed up the last of it all, and went back to the new place to start unpacking. My parents came over and helped unpack. My mom did the kitchen and my dad hung up our TVs and all of our pictures. We got so much done on Saturday. I was so surprised.

 

The house is almost entirely unpacked and everything is put away. I have a few loads of laundry, and a couple boxes in the Extra Bedroom that I need to unpack, but other than that it is all done.

 

We got it all done so fast! I was so happy!

 

Our place is pretty big, and I like how our bedroom is at the back of the apartment. Our closet is huge and I love the décor in the master bathroom! I just love the whole apartment!
