This is a joke, right?

So my husband was supposed to swear in and join the Navy after 5 months, tomorrow. Well guess who called this afternoon.. yep, his knucklehead of a recruiter. I guess his recruiter didn't get my husband the proper waiver he was supposed to in time. He also had to cut my husbands pay from 1600 a month to 1400 a month, for the first four months. Said it was a new rule or something? So since these two things have changed, we have to wait another day for my husband to chose his job and swear in.

So supposedly he is going to go in on Thursday and swear in. I am sure that from now until then we will get another call saying something else went wrong.

 

It's super irritating because it has been this way since he has been trying to enter. It's like we get so close, then get a phone call telling us we have to wait. I understand that's just military life, but I also wonder how much of it is because of his recruiter.

We have friends that have had such awesome stories about their recruiter. I wish we were in the same boat. I say we... I mean my husband. But, this is affecting my life to.. you know?

 

So now I have to see if I can get of Thursday instead of Wednesday with my job, and they usually have a big deal giving someone a day off without them submitting their PTO a week in advance.

 

So that's my rant today.

 

Also, I tried Pho today. Not my favorite. Probably won't go out of my way to eat it again. I guess there was lemon grass in it, which I don't like.

So there's that!

 

Thinking of taking a half day tomorrow and having Thursday off. Then I have to go back to work on Friday.
