wonderful weekend.

Can't believe it's already Monday, these beloved weekends go by faster and faster. I make sure to jam pack my weekends with fun stuff. Well.. mostly fun stuff.

After work on Friday I was able to pick up the two wall sconces I ordered from JCPenny's. I really like them, and got them hung Sunday morning, forgot to take a picture. Also my new wall sticker came in the mail! Yay! I put that up as soon as I got home Friday.

Then my Husband and I decided to go to his sister's boyfriend's football game, but we stopped at Starbucks on the way there. Let me start by saying this, I am not a coffee drinker. I hate the taste and smell of coffee. I know, it's weird. I've been this way my entire 20 years of life, and I have gotten rid of all hopes that I would grow out of it. When I go to Starbucks, I have ALWAYS gotten tea. Half green half black tea with a butt load of sugar. Friday, though, I was feeling spontaneous. I have heard of the famous Pumpkin Spice Latte that makes its special appearance this quarter of every year, so I thought.. I really want to try it, but I hate the taste of coffee.. Okay, I said that out loud actually and the barista said "We can make that with hot milk instead". DONE. Please and Thank you. It tasted beautifully. So yummy. I also like the red cup.

The football game was a bust because occasionally I am a drama queen and drag out pointless fights with my husband and ruin our time. Yes, I am admitting to that right now.
I feel bad, but what's done is done and the rest of our weekend made it up for it.

After the game, and after my madness had calmed down a bit, we went over to my In-laws Friday night. It was around 9 by the time we got there and we were hungry because we skipped dinner, so they made us Pizza. My awesome mother in law is a manager at Victoria's Secret and told me she got new perfume in that she didn't like to much- She's not a huge perfume wearer. So she gave me the bottle! I love it. Super love it. It's so yummy and I suggest every male buy it for their special female and every female go to VS and hook yourself up. There is also this other perfume there called Night that I got a couple weeks ago... Its my current 1st Favorite!

Saturday morning was spent focused on the new car. I am naming her Blue, for obvious reasons. I mentioned in an earlier post that my awesome hubby bought me the blue HID's that I wanted and they came in on Thursday! Around 8 we went to the DMV and got Blue registered, then I changed my name, and I took a new picture for my ID. Thank god! We have a friend that works at the DMV so it wasn't the nightmare we thought it would be. We were in and out! Then we went to my husbands parents house, and we installed the HID's. It took us like 3 hours, but oh so worth the time! New headlights and fog lights. They look awesome at night.

After the car was done, we went to Gyro Time and then went to a family friends birthday party. We stayed there for like 6 hours. Watching my husband play with the kids, and carry the baby around pretty much melted my heart. Ugh, not helping baby fever dear! It was fun, and nights like these will definitely be missed!

Last Sunday my husband and I went to Mt. Charleston and played in the snow, we then decided we wanted to go sledding this weekend. So we got the sled from his parents house, had lunch with Sage and Eishi, and headed to the mountains. Once we got up there it looked like this. (See picture above) All the snow had melted from the week before, and a woman who worked there said we were unable to sled in what snow was left, because of the risk. :(

So we went up to this really fun restaurant that overlooks the mountains and ordered some hot chocolate. It was cute.
After our mountain adventure we went to my parents house for a steak and baked potato dinner. Then we watched Grown Ups 2. Stupid movie. Kind of funny, but stupid. Ha! My dad was in town this weekend. It was nice seeing him and spending time with the family.

 I love my weekends.
